Thirteen experimental body-based artists will respond to the particular architecture and ethos of a home that functions as a family residence and art event space simultaneously. This group of independent artists will present a one of kind performance born out of a three-month invasion of the Summercamp space. Live performance, experimental dance, and body-based videos will take over and illuminate the home in an event that is uniquely oriented towards domestic space and Los Angeles geography.
homeLA serves as a lab space for experimental dance artists to develop new works and engage with diverse audiences in alternative spaces. By activating domestic space as a performance platform, the event seeks to contribute to the development of new experimental dance and body-based art created in Los Angeles.
Please RSVP to homeLA.hello@gmail.com and receive the home address.
Space is limited so your RSVP is highly recommended!
Tickets are $15 suggested cash donation toward compensating the artists.
